The Cusco coffee tour is a sensory and cultural experience that connects you with the coffee-growing heart of the La Convención Valley. On this one-day route, you will learn about the artisanal process of Peruvian coffee alongside local producer families, surrounded by nature, living traditions, and landscapes of the Cusco high jungle.
The adventure begins very early with pick-up from your hotel (03:30 – 04:00 a.m.) to travel towards Abra Málaga, crossing the majestic Sacred Valley. After a stop at the viewpoint at 4,200 m a.s.l., we will descend to a coffee farm in Huayopata. There, you will immerse yourself in the world of coffee: from visiting the crops to a local breakfast and participating in the artisanal process of harvesting, pulping, drying, roasting, and grinding.
You will enjoy a guided tasting of the coffee you helped prepare, followed by a homemade lunch with regional ingredients. The return to Cusco is scheduled between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., concluding an authentic, educational day with the aroma of living history. This tour is ideal for coffee lovers and travelers seeking a sustainable and meaningful experience.

Our transport will pick you up between 03:30 and 04:00 a.m., depending on the location of your accommodation (hotels or Airbnbs in the historic center of Cusco).

Journey to the Sacred Valley – Abra Málaga
We will travel for approximately 2 hours by tourist transport to Abra Málaga, where we will make a brief stop to appreciate the landscape and receive an introduction from the guide.

Arrival at the coffee farm
We continue to the farm located in the heart of the coffee-growing area, where we will begin our immersive experience.

Our local guide will show us the crops and explain the production process from plant to cup.
