Natural heritage Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain Cusco – Peru. Rainbow Mountain 2022, located about 100 kilometers from the imperial city of Cusco, at an altitude of 5036 m.a.s.l, where a mountain attracts the eyes of locals and strangers for the beauty of its colors, to date it has become one of the most visited places behind Machupicchu. This is in one of the most impressive mountain ranges of Cusco, called “Vilcanota”. This destination offers a wonderful spectacle during the tour which is conducted, the road lasts approximately 1.30 hours, according to the pace of the visitor’s walk. The colors of this destination are due to the geological formation of about 56 million years ago, which was accumulating mixtures of fluvial, lacustrine and marine elements, many specialists indicate that this phenomenon has only been seen due to the melting of the Andes mountain ranges. Tour Description

Unique experience First we start picking you up from your accommodation at 04:00 in the morning, then we move to Quiquijana where our restaurant “La Montana” is located, then we wear out our nutritious buffet breakfast. Afterwards we move to the vehicle parking lot. Our guide will give us all the instructions to start the walk, which will provide canes during the walk, in the same way, the guide will carry oxygen. You will always have personalized attention from the guide. Of course, the walk begins at 4700 m.a.s.l ascending to 5200 m.a.s.l in the part of the viewpoint towards the mountain of colors. The cold in this place is strong. The walk is light for those who are used to adventure and can enjoy more time in the Mountain of Colors this 2022. Likewise, you will have enough time to take photos, make videos and much more, then we will return along the same path to our tourist transport. Afterwards, we will transfer you to our restaurant, to enjoy a buffet lunch. Finally, we moved to the imperial city of Cusco. This is how our tour to the mountain of colors ends. We also offer tours to Maras Moray on ATVs, as well as Palcoyo, you can enjoy this adventure on wheels in the middle of the mountain ranges. Above all, we have our own restaurant called “La Montana”, which has a rustic and cozy atmosphere with an impressive view of the Vilcanota River.
