Experience the magic of Machu Picchu in a single day with our tour designed for travelers with limited time. We depart at dawn from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, where we will board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes. From there, a comfortable bus will take us up to the majestic citadel. Enjoy an expert guided tour through the most important archaeological sectors of the sanctuary, discovering its secrets and history.

After the guided tour, you will have time to explore on your own or simply marvel at the views before returning to Aguas Calientes. There you can have lunch (we recommend trying the delicious local or Novo-Andean cuisine, lunch not included). We will end the day with the train back to Ollantaytambo and our private transport back to Cusco, culminating in an intense, unforgettable, and perfectly organized experience.

ITINERARY: MACHU PICCHU FULL DAY

1. Hotel Pick-up
  Our guide will pick you up directly from your hotel or accommodation in Cusco.
  Time: Between 03:40 am and 04:00 am.

1. Transfer to Ollantaytambo Train Station
  We will travel approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Ollantaytambo train station.
  Duration: Approximately 1:30 hours.

1. Transfer to Aguas Calientes
  We will take the train to Aguas Calientes. During the 1 hour and 40-minute journey, we will enjoy spectacular views of the Sacred Valley and the Urubamba River.
  Duration: Approximately 1:40 hours.

1. Arrival at Machu Picchu
  Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will take the bus up to the entrance of the citadel.

1. Guided Tour in Machu Picchu
  We will have a guided tour of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, exploring the main points of the Inca citadel, while our guide explains the history and cultural significance of the site.

1. Return to Aguas Calientes
  After the tour, we will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes.

1. Lunch (At passenger’s expense)
  You will have time to have lunch on your own at one of the restaurants in Aguas Calientes.

1. Transfer to the Train Station
  We will head to the train station to board the return train to Ollantaytambo.

1. On Board the Train to Ollantaytambo
  Enjoy the scenery during the return train journey to Ollantaytambo.
  Duration: Approximately 1h 40 min.

1. Arrival in Ollantaytambo and Private Transfer to Cusco
  Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, our private transport will be waiting to take us back to Cusco. The return trip to Cusco will be in a comfortable and direct private service.
