Subsequently, we will head to the Tipón Archaeological Park, a jewel of Inca hydraulic engineering, whose terraces, canals, and ancestral structures are still functioning today. You will have an optional visit inside the complex to learn more about its history and significance.

We will continue to Oropesa, recognized as the capital of Cusco bread. Here you will learn about its baking tradition, visit its main square, and observe the making of the famous "chuta" bread.

Finally, we will return to Huasao via an exciting dirt trail, ideal for those who want to experience the adrenaline of driving through the rural landscapes of southern Cusco. We will end the day with a transfer back to the city.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TOUR

Huasao: Starting point surrounded by nature

The ATV tour begins in Huasao, a picturesque village located southeast of Cusco city. Known for its peaceful atmosphere and green areas, Huasao is the ideal place to start this experience. Here you will receive a safety briefing, personalized instructions, and conduct a practice run to familiarize yourself with the ATV. This natural setting will allow you to start the journey with confidence, energy, and a connection to the rural environment of Cusco.

Tipón Archaeological Park: Hydraulic heritage of the Incas

Tipón is one of the less known but most impressive archaeological complexes in Cusco. Famous for its sophisticated system of canals and agricultural terraces, it represents a true example of Inca hydraulic wisdom. Its structures, still in operation, reflect the mastery the Incas had over water. During the tour, you will have the option to explore this site optionally while marveling at its mountainous surroundings and historical significance.

Oropesa: Cusco's baking tradition

Known as the capital of Cusco bread, Oropesa is an essential stop for those who value culture and living traditions. In this welcoming town, you will visit its main square and learn about the traditional process of making artisanal bread, passed down from generation to generation. Oropesa is home to more than 40 bakeries, and its "chuta" bread is a symbol of local identity. This visit offers an authentic and tasty experience, where the human warmth is as memorable as its bread.

Dirt trail route: Adventure in Andean landscapes

The final stretch of the tour takes you along an exciting rural dirt trail, surrounded by agricultural fields, green hills, and Andean landscapes. This part of the tour is perfect for enjoying the freedom provided by the ATV while immersing yourself in the beauty of the natural surroundings. The return path to Huasao combines adrenaline and contact with the rural life of Cusco.
