In this space, you will enjoy a cozy atmosphere with 3 colorful mountains, accompanied by a stone forest, which makes this place very welcoming and pleasant for many travelers. Tour description

Detailed itinerary We start our tour, picking you up from your respective hotel between 04:00 and 04:30 am. We will depart to the south of Cusco, after 01:30 hours we will arrive at our restaurant La Montana for our buffet breakfast. Afterwards, we will continue with our tour approximately 01:30 h, to the parking lot of our ATVs, likewise, our guide will give us a small indication about the handling of the motorcycles. Later, we begin our “Palcoyo ATV” tour in the middle of valleys, rivers, agricultural fields. Following our itinerary after approximately 1.30 h, we will arrive at Palcoyo where we can enjoy this wonder, there will be time to take photos, make videos and much more. Therefore, we will return by the same route, to the parking lot of the motorcycles, where our tourist transport will be, to then arrive at the restaurant, where a delicious buffet lunch prepared with products from the area and the region will be waiting for us. Finally, we moved to the city of Cusco, arriving approximately at 17 hours, thus ending our tour.

What is the climate in Palcoyo?

Natural attraction The rainy season occurs between the months of November and the beginning of April, exceptionally it may be accompanied by snow, the last days of April and the last days of October, it can be found in a dry and cold stage. In the hottest days it does not exceed fifteen degrees given its altitude of the place.

Formation and colors of the mountain

Pink/fuchsia: Red clay, mudstones and arilites.
Whitish: White quartz sandstone.
Purple or Lavender: Combination of clay with sodium carbonate and silicates.
Red: Composed of clays and argillites.
Green: Composed of clays rich in ferro magnesian and copper.
Yellowish brown: Composed of calcareous sandstones, limonites and sulphured minerals.
