Detailed Itinerary
Pickup at your accommodation – 04:00 a.m.
We begin our adventure early in the morning with pickup from your accommodation in Cusco. We will start the journey south of the Sacred Valley, towards the province of Canchis.
Stop in Quiquijana – Andean breakfast
We make a stop in the town of Quiquijana, where we will enjoy a typical Andean breakfast to recharge energy before continuing to Palcoyo.
Arrival at Palcoyo parking lot
After breakfast, we head to the starting point of the hike, located near the Palcoyo viewpoint, at over 4,800 m.a.s.l.
Start of the hike
We begin a gentle hike of approximately 45 minutes through impressive Andean landscapes, surrounded by rainbow mountains, llamas, and alpacas. During the journey, our guide will share information about the geology and culture of the area.
Free time to explore and photograph
We will have enough time to enjoy the place calmly, take photographs, record videos, and contemplate the natural beauty of Palcoyo and its famous stone forest.
Return to transportation
After the visit, we return to the parking lot walking the same trail, to board our tourist transportation.
Buffet lunch on the way
On the way back to Cusco, we will make a stop at a local restaurant to enjoy a buffet lunch with Andean flavors.
Return to Cusco
We conclude the tour with the journey back to the city. We will arrive in Cusco in the afternoon, concluding a unique experience in the Andes.

Its colors, formed around 56 million years ago, emerged due to Andean glacial melting.
