Natural heritage Perolniyoc Waterfall Tour, a new tourist destination full of nature and culture, located in the community of Socma, District of Ollantaytambo, Province of Urubamba and department of Cusco at 3460 m.a.s.l. above the Perolniyoc waterfall. This destination includes hiking, nature and culture. In the middle of the walk we will find crops such as potatoes and corn. The walk to this place is very quiet as it will only take us approximately 1:30 hours. When you reach the top of the viewpoint you will be able to observe the beautiful valley made up of the Anaphahua and Socma ravines, the Perolniyoc waterfalls and a part of the Raqaypata archaeological complex. From this beautiful viewpoint we will obtain a 360 degree view of the entire valley. After having rested, we continue with the walk to Raqaypata, dating from pre-Inca times, and according to researchers this site was inhabited by the “Cugma” group, later taken by the Incas, during which time it was rebuilt and new buildings were built, such as: Qolqas, kallankas, ceremonial enclosures, residences as well as hydraulic canals. Of course, this walk is designed for all those adventure lovers who want to connect with nature through the majestic waterfall as well as the beautiful landscapes that this tour offers.

Tour Description

Unique experience First of all, we will go through your accommodation to transfer you to the Socma community. Then, after 1 hour, once arriving at the parking lot, our guide will give us the scope for the tour of this tour. Therefore, we begin the walk for approximately 2 hours until we reach the viewpoint, located in the upper part of this valley. Well, we continue advancing for 1:40 hours more, until we reach Raqaypata. Our guide will explain about this place, likewise, there will be adequate time to take photos and tour the site.
