Tour Summary
We will begin the adventure by picking you up from your hotel in Cusco at 8:30 a.m. Our tourist transport will take you south of Cusco, heading to the town of Cusipata, where you will experience an authentic rafting adventure in Cusipata, recognized for its Class III rapids.
Upon arrival at Cusipata River Lodge, you will be received with all amenities: changing rooms, hygiene facilities, lockers and sauna. Here you will be provided with all necessary rafting equipment, complying with the highest safety standards: helmet, life jacket, wetsuit and waterproof jacket.
Before entering the river, our expert guides will provide a safety briefing. The journey down the river will be conducted in inflatable rafts for 1 hour and 40 minutes, challenging the Class III rapids, always accompanied by a support kayakist. Upon completion, you will return to the lodge for a hot shower and a complete lunch with vegetarian option. You will then enjoy the canopy zipline adventure with 2 cables over the Cusipata valley, complementing your day of adventure. Finally, we will return to Cusco at approximately 5:00 p.m.

- Pickup from Your Hotel in Cusco – 8:30 a.m.
Our tourist transport will pick you up promptly from your hotel in Cusco to begin the adventure. We will depart heading south from the city, toward the district of Cusipata.
- Transfer to Cusipata (approximately 1h 40min)
The journey is made via the Cusco-Sicuani highway, enjoying beautiful Andean landscapes. Our destination is the "Cusipata River Lodge", strategically located in front of the Urubamba River.
- Arrival at Cusipata River Lodge and Preparation
Upon arrival, you will be able to use all lodge facilities: changing rooms, bathrooms, sauna and lockers. You will receive complete canoeing equipment: helmet, life jacket, wetsuit, waterproof jacket and paddle, all complying with biosecurity protocols.
- Safety Briefing and Recommendations
Our professional Class V guides will provide you with detailed instructions for the safe development of the activity, as well as coordinate the presence of a kayakist or safety catamaran.
- Canoeing on the Urubamba River (approximately 1h 40min)
You will enjoy an exciting descent through Class III and III+ rapids on the Urubamba River. We will use self-bailing inflatable rafts, ensuring safety and fun at each stage.
- Hot Shower and Rest at the Lodge
After canoeing, you can relax by taking a hot shower at our facilities. You will have some free time to change clothes and rest.
- Traditional Andean Lunch
We will share a complete lunch in the lodge dining room: vegetable soup as an appetizer, main course with chicken in sauce accompanied by rice (vegetarian option also available), plus cold or hot beverages.
- Canopy Activity (Zipline)
After lunch, the zipline activity will take place. We have 2 cables of 120 meters long each, which allow you to glide safely over the beautiful Cusipata landscape.
- Packing and Preparation for Return
After finishing the activities, you will be able to pack your belongings and rest briefly before departing to return to Cusco.

We will board the tourist transport to return to the city of Cusco. The tour ends with drop-off at the central Plaza Regocijo, near Plaza de Armas.
