The Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley Full Route ATV tour begins with pick-up between 03:30 and 04:00 a.m. from your hotel or Airbnb in Cusco. After a punctual and comfortable departure, we head toward the Qempo Tourist Restaurant, where you will enjoy a varied buffet breakfast—ideal for starting the experience with energy and acclimatizing before the adventure.

We then continue to the Japura sector, a strategic point where you will receive a complete safety briefing and all the necessary instructions for operating the ATV. From this point, the Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley Full Route by ATV truly begins, traveling along high-Andean routes surrounded by mountains, canyons, local wildlife, and unique landscapes that characterize this region of Peru.

The ATV ride takes us to Lauramani, the direct access point to the impressive Red Valley, one of the most striking natural settings in the area. From here, we undertake an approximately 50-minute hike along trails tinted with reddish hues until reaching the Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) viewpoint—a privileged spot offering wide, spectacular views with fewer tourists.

After exploring Vinicunca and capturing unforgettable panoramic photos, we return along the same route to Japura.   • Stay hydrated during the journey, carry a personal water bottle
  • Bring light snacks such as nuts or chocolates to maintain energy
  • Use a hat or cap and sunglasses with UV protection
  • Bring a camera or cell phone with enough charge (the cold drains batteries quickly)
  • Bring cash in soles for the payment of entry fees (S/ 15 nationals / S/ 25 foreigners) and personal expenses
