The tour lasts half a day and is excellent for lovers of mysticism, living culture and interaction with the local population. During the tour you will enjoy the wonderful landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, unique bodies of water, a rich variety of flora and fauna (including birds) and closeness with the inhabitants, who show the simplicity and joy of their daily lives.

The itinerary begins with pick-up at your hotel at 6:00 a.m. and transfer to Chinchero – Cuper Bajo. Upon arrival, the corresponding sanitary protocol will be applied. Then, we will visit the community of Cuper Bajo, where you can enjoy the impressive view of the Piuray lagoon and the abundant flora and fauna of the place.
The «Qori Simpas» association will welcome you and share Andean stories, in addition to offering a visit to the Archaeological Center of Cuper Bajo and the opportunity to participate in traditional agricultural activities. You will enjoy a lunch prepared with local products, which includes typical dishes such as baked guinea pig, second of lisas, hulled quinoa, among others, accompanied by drinks made with regional plants. Before finishing, the association will provide a brief explanation about the textile process and demonstrate handmade garments. Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco.

We will enjoy a traditional lunch. The emblematic dish of the area, «La Merienda», includes baked guinea pig, second of lisas, hulled quinoa, pumpkin fritter, among others, accompanied by aromatic drinks made with local plants.
- Final explanation by the «Qori Simpas» Association
Before finishing, we will receive an additional explanation from the «Qori Simpas» Association, delving into the history and traditions of the area.
- Return to the city of Cusco
